Hello my darlings we are here again this is a very wild topic which will take us not just one blog to cover, but I will like us to know what body shape is, the different body shapes we have, little highlights on them, then we pick each body shape one after another and talk about them

So first thing first, body shape is the general outline of a person's figure, based on their bone structure and the distribution of fat and muscle on their body/it is the overall silhouette or proportions of a person's body altogether.

We have several different body shapes, but here are the five most common body shapes

1-The hourglass body shape

2- The pear body shape

3- The apple body shape

4_ The rectangle body shape

5- The inverted triangle body shape

Each body shape is unique, has it's own proportions and also has its own set of characteristics and features that can be accentuated through clothing, styling and highlights.

Knowing your body shape is not all about fitting into any specific mold, it's about embracing your own body and accentuating your best features.

∆The hourglass body shape_it is one of the most sought-after body shapes this particular body shape is characterized by a smaller waist, full hips, and a full bust, people with this body shape tend to have more defined waist and a balanced silhouette This body shape can be accentuated through clothing that emphasizes and highlights the waist and curves.

∆The pear body shape _ this particular body shape is characterized by a smaller upper body including the waist but with a larger lower body, of wider hips and thighs. This body shape can be accentuated through clothing that balances out the upper and lower body, such as wearing tops with statement details or accessories to draw attention upward this includes high-waisted pants, flared jeans, wrap dresses, ETC.

∆The apple body shape _ the apple body shape is sometimes called the circle body shape because of it's rounded silhouette characterized by a larger upper body and a smaller lower body, with a rounder midsection, a less defined waist, and sometimes with smaller arms and legs. This body shape can be accentuated through clothing that creates a visual balance between the upper and lower body, such as wearing clothing with a defined waistline or layering with a fitted jacket.

∆The rectangle body shape _this body shape also known as the "banana" body shape is one of the most common body shape it's characterized by a straighter silhouette, with a similar width throughout the body and a less defined waist, which gives one a boyish silhouette, this body shape can be accentuated through clothing that creates the illusion of curves and a defined waistline, so to dress a rectangle body shape, you can add curves by wearing pieces that add volume to the hips and bust. This includes flared jeans, peplum tops, ETC

∆The inverted triangle body shapes _this particular body shape also known as the "V" shape, is the opposite of the pear body shape. With this shape, the upper body is wider than the lower body, with broader shoulders and a slimmer waist and hips The goal with this body type is to add volume to the lower body and narrow the upper body, so this body shape can be accentuated through clothing that balances out the upper and lower body, such as wearing clothing with a fuller skirt or pants to create the illusion of a more proportional silhouette.
